Capacity The Celliers Jean d’Alibert

The site of Celliers Jean d’Alibert

Today the Celliers Jean d’Alibert plays an important role as a service provider and wine merchant in the bulk wine trade and for bottling Languedoc wines.
Created in 1978 as a SICA, a form of agricultural cooperative society, the Celliers Jean d’Alibert is located at Rieux-Minervois in the heart of the Minervois wine growing plain. The potential of the Celliers is based on experience and continuous development. The 35 employees are responsible for processing and packaging 11 million bottles of wine and dispatching 200,000 hL of bulk wine.

The Celliers has a bottling line with a capacity of 90,000 bottles/day and a fermenting room with a capacity of 50,000 hL with 115 stainless steel and polyester vats with capacities from 10 to 2,600 hL. The bottles are kept in a 3,000 m² air-conditioned wine store. The site is also equipped with an in-house laboratory for the necessary analyses. It has IFS (International Food Standard), BRC (British Retail Consortium) and BIO/ORGANIC certifications.
