Soil :

The Merlot grape-variety is cultivated on chalky soil.
Tasting notes :

Intense red with deep purple tints.
Powerful nose of ripe strawberries, undergrowth and vanilla.
The mouth is full and velvety.
The well-balanced tannins give the wine a pleasant smoothness.
Vinification :

After de-stemming, the grapes are vinified traditionally.
Ageing : 9 months in oak barrels.
Serving suggestions :

Goes perfectly with grilled meats and cheeses.
Serve at 15-18°C.
